Wenn sich Gefühl und technische Perfektion verbinden, ist Chris in Ihrem Element !
Während dem Fotoshooting bei Chris durfte ich in die faszinierende Welt der Kalligraphie und der Schriftkunst allgemein eintauchen. Im Gespräch mit Chris begann ich schnell zu begreifen, dass ihre Kunstwerke nur entstehen können, wenn Gefühl und Technik im Einklang sind. Was aus einiger Distanz wie normale Motive wirken, werden bei näherer Betrachtung zu gehaltvollen Texten. Das Kunstwerk wirkt so einerseits durch Form und gleichzeitig durch Inhalt. Sie während der Arbeit zu begleiten und die Verschmelzung von ihr mit dem entstehenden Kunstwerk zu erfassen, hat mich tief beeindruckt. During the fotoshooting I had the opportunitiy to jump into the world of calligraphy and typographic art. The conversation with Chris made it clear, that her pieces of art can only be created when feelings and technic are perfectly matched together. Looking at her drawings from far, you recognize the form. Looking at her drawings very close you’ll start to see the text. Her pieces of art have therefore an double effect that is fascinating the observer. Watching her through my camera while she was working I could very quickly see the fusion of herself with the arising artwork. Chris is a real artist, but even more importantly a wonderful person.
